DownRight Special is a business owned and operated by a young man and young woman who have Down syndrome.  They are working to show the unique qualities that exist in all those who are blessed with an extra chromosome and the love of family.

 

The cards offered        showcase the unique personalities of people who have Down syndrome.  You will enjoy sending these cards as much as everyone enjoyed creating them.


 

What's In A Name?

When we were considering starting our company, we knew we had "something special" to offer and  had to come up with the perfect name.  After much brainstorming, DownRight Special was chosen. 
Down is for Dr. Langdon after whom Trisomy 21, or Down syndrome, was named.  We combined Down with Right because we know that there really isn't anything wrong with having Down syndrome.  The Special is self explanatory; everyone is special, but that tiny extra chromosome, that all persons with Trisomy 21 have, makes them extra special to all those who know and love them.
